The ELSI Advantage is one of the tools developed by the NBSTRN to aid researchers in thinking about ethical, legal and social issues that may arise in the planning and implementation of their research. ELSI Advantage contains information on IRB's (institutional review boards), newborn screening-related FAQ's, and templates to customize your own consent forms.
